Howdy,

ugh, "about me" bios — you don't like reading them i don't like writing them but we’ll get through this together!

The name’s Binh (the "h" is silent). I’m a Web Developer and Software Engineer currently based in New York City. Born in Virginia and studied Economics and Media Studies at Virginia. I worked for a brief spell in the Commonwealth before heading out west, Californee way to the Bay to learn the ol’ software/web development trade.

I was lucky to find a role at a plucky little fintech startup that turned out to be an immensely formidable and wonderful experience, working at all levels of the stack both due to curiosity and necessity. Craving new challenges, I eventually made my way to some larger companies, naturally gravitating towards Frontend and UI-focused development.

Wanting to change things up, I reluctantly said goodbye to my beloved San Francisco to live a simpler, quieter life in Manhattan. Here I've had the good fortune of working with some fine people at some very successful SaaS companies, in both the fintech and real estate spaces gaining new skills on the way.

Developing product features, leading experimentation, growing design systems, curating web presence, championing UX and accessibility best practices. This is me^*.

I’ve been making websites for over 10 years but have lately been especially inspired by so many developers and their sites that make up the IndieWeb so I'm trying to put more time and energy cultivating this place. A place to call home.
